Forum Title: Replacement Windows
I'll probably get all kinds of answers but we need to replace some casement windows in our home and I'd like some ideas of the kinds of other people like. Whatever material is chosen needs to be able to be painted both inside and out because we want to match our existing exterior and interior colors. I don't feel that vinyl is not a great material and there are certainly some concerns about durability. I also think aluminum looks more like it belongs on a trailer not a $400,000 residential home. The two basic materials I'm interested in are fiberglass and cellular PVC, both of which appear to be very durable and are paintable. There may be other materials that also meet that criteria and have good durability.
